About

July 10, 2007

What I would like this site to be is a place that knitters of all skill levels can visit and find something useful. As the subtitle implies, beginners should be able to come here and browse the tutorials and other material to help them get started. More experienced knitters would find interesting and fun projects that they can either make or use as ideas for their own creations.  Currently there are only a few things on the site, and I'm working to put up more material. There are 2 main sections for now: the blog where I tell a story of how some of my creations came to be, and the projects that have detailed descriptions of the things I made. I just added the “Store” to the site where you can buy fancy bamboo needles with hand-made glass tops. My plan is to also add sections like “Tutorials” but it will be some time before I can have a comprehensive guide to knitting.

Please feel free to browse what I currently have, check out the pictures, posts, and the store, and leave comments if you have ideas for improvement. More things to come, I promise.

Hi Marion,

Unfortunately, I don’t have a basketball pattern handy, but I’ll keep it in mind :)

Hi,
I was wondering if your patterns are ‘angel’ patterns or copyrighted. I was thinking I would like to make some of the stuffed toys for a Fall craft fair.

Hi Shirley,

Please feel free to use the patterns for making toys for the craft fair. I’m giving them away for free.
