Buy hand-made knitting needles

August 2, 2008

These knitting needles are made out of bamboo with glass tops handcrafted by a glass artist friend of mine Andru Anderson. The tops are made of colored glass and are unique so you may get two needles with slightly different top designs. I will do my best to match needles in a pair to each other as closely as possible. The store is starting out small: for now there are only 3 needle sizes available in 3 glass colors each.

US size 3 needles come in White Mushroom and 2 different types of Ivory Swirl

Those knitting needles look great! Do they work really well? I was wondering, could you get a size 8?

Hello,
I was wondering are they made in the US? I am assuming so,, but just thought I would check. Do you get your bamboo from a US supplier?

Sorry with all the questions, just getting some info for someone.

Thanks

Hi Deanna,

I made the needles myself, so yes, they are made in the US. The bamboo, however, did not come from the US supplier.
